Welcome to Dibrell Elementary School
CELEBRATING EDUCATION SINCE 1902
Back in 1878, the community of Dibrell was given its name by General George Dibrell, and that's where our rich history in education begins. Formal education at Dibrell dates back to 1902 when Dibrell College was established, and it thrived for 21 years. In 1923, Dibrell High School started with grades from first through twelve, and it's been an integral part of our community.
By 1970, Dibrell transitioned into an elementary school, catering to Pre-K through eighth grade, and it has maintained an average enrollment of four hundred students. The Dibrell community takes great pride in our school, and wholeheartedly support the efforts of our faculty, staff, and students. We're thrilled to share that we've recently been recognized as a Reward School and School of Recognition in the state of Tennessee, which is a testament to our commitment to providing quality education. The Capturing Kids Hearts organization has also recognized Dibrell as a National Showcase School. At our school, we offer challenging academics and various athletic programs, creating a fun and rewarding learning environment for our students.
Whether you're a part of a long line of Dibrell families or new to our community, we extend a warm welcome to you to join our Dibrell family.
